Making a payment in

A Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection can pay money in to their Court Funds Office client account using form L (CoP payment into the CFO).  If you have recently been appointed a Deputy and have not yet opened an account with the Court Funds Office, you can do this by requesting the CFO Deputies guidance pack, which contains the forms that you will require to set up your account (form L and form A).  You can find a full list of our forms at the forms section of our website.

To pay money in we will require:

  3.  The amount to be paid in (available on the court order)

CFO will send you a receipt to acknowledge your payment within 5 working days.

If you are paying money in for the first time, CFO will also require form A (authority to access the CFO account).  This provides us with important account information about you.  If your bank details change, you must always complete a new form A so that your details are always up-to-date.
